As December has come again, we want to send out a reminder that winter weather can be unpredictable. Please ensure that your children are sent with proper attire such as hats, boots, gloves, snow pants etc., as we do spend a lot of our time in the morning and afternoon outdoors.

We continue to incorporate group games into our large group activities, and the children have loved using their creative skills to create new versions of games. They also love to make new rules and see if can beat the classroom staff.

Our class has been tapping into their artistic side and creating new and exciting art pieces to decorate our room. One of our classes favourite art projects to date is creating artwork to give to the Iler lodge nursing home for the winter season. The class loved creating bookmarks and colouring pictures to give the residents at the nursing home.

We are so excited for the upcoming holidays and can’t wait to share all our exciting new stories from the break. Just a reminder that we are closed from December 24th through January 1st and will re-open on January 2nd. If you require care for your child/ren on December 22nd, 23rd or, January 2nd please let the staff know as soon as possible.

Merry Christmas, we look forward to seeing you in the New Year!
