March is already here, and we are hoping that along with it comes some nice spring weather! Despite the cold and snowy winter, the children loved sliding their sleds down the little hill and spent plenty of time shoveling. We have the best tiny helpers as they love to shovel snow.
Valentine’s Day was a great success! Our room was full of red, pink and white. With a little help from the teachers the children were able to deliver their cards and treats to all their friends. The room was full of excitement!
As we head into March, we would just like to send out a few reminders. March Break is the week of March 16th. If there are any changes to your child’s schedule for this week, please let staff know as this helps us to plan accordingly. St. Patrick’s Day is also Tuesday, March 17th. Help us celebrate by wearing green!
Please also note that Easter is early this year, and Story Book will be closed on Friday, April 3rd for Good Friday as well as Monday, April 6th for Easter Monday.
We would finally like to thank all of you all who participated in our fundraiser, Popcorn for a Purpose. The funds raised will go to W.E. Care for Kids supporting Windsor Regional Hospital’s Family Birthing Unit.
