Toddler Room #1 News
March 2026
February went by so quick! We had fun learning about Valentine’s Day and talking about our family and friends. We hope you all enjoyed Family Day.
As most of our toddlers have been showing an interest in cars and trucks we’ve started to implement transportation into our curriculum. They have been having fun with this at both circle and small group time. Our transportation sensory bin has been a big hit! It offers opportunities to drive, fill, and dump vehicles, while encouraging language, creativity, and social skills. To further their interest in transportation, we’ve also added a construction dramatic play centre to the carpet.
Please note that Tuesday, March 17th is St. Patrick’s Day. Please help us celebrate by dressing your little leprechauns in green.
As a reminder, please let us know if your child will be attending their regular scheduled days during March Break (March 16th-20th). Thank you.

March 2026
We can’t believe how quickly February flew by! The toddlers loved Valentine’s Day, and they had so much fun passing out their valentines!
The family photos are a great addition to our classroom. The toddlers enjoyed sharing their family pictures at circle time. They also love to look at their families and their friends’ families throughout the day! We hear a lot of “my Mommy” or “my Daddy”!
Dinosaurs were a topic of interest this month. Playing dinosaurs is a favourite game in our classroom. The Toddlers have so much fun stomping around and roaring with the “big dinosaurs.”
Reminder:
Please let staff know if there will be any changes to your child’s schedule for the week of March Break as it helps with staffing, thank you!
St. Patrick’s Day is on Tuesday, March 17th. Help us celebrate by wearing green!
