Welcome Spring! The month of April brought quite the mix of warm and cold days. Hopefully May will be full of warmer temperatures. Despite the cooler weather, we still noticed many signs of Spring. The children spotted several insects outside and even saw our robin friend come back to her nest she made last spring. We have talked a lot about Spring this past month.
Last month we changed our dramatic play center into a McDonald’s. The children were able to place and take each others’ orders, prepare the food and best of all pretend to eat it. This was a popular center with many chicken nuggets and french fries being ordered.
Please Note: Sunscreen will be provided by Story Book Early Learning Centre. The brand name is Croc Bloc. It is a paba free and hypo-allergenic with an SPF of 30. Sunscreen will be applied to all exposed skin, including face, tops of ears, arms, legs and bare shoulders. It will be effective from 10:00am to 4:00pm. If you do not want us to apply our sunscreen to your child, please notify staff and apply your sunscreen at home before your child arrives at school.
