Toddler Room #1

It’s hard to believe the year is coming to an end. Christmas will soon be here, and we are very excited for a FUN filled month. Putting up our tree, decorating the room & we may or may not have already started listening to Christmas carols . We look forward to seeing the magic of Christmas through your children. Small group & large group time will be spent learning all about this special holiday

The month of November we learned about transportation. We also continued talking about colours.

Please let staff know if there are any changes to your child’s schedule this month and if your child will not be attending the first week of January.

We are doing a canned food/ toy drive. It will be donated to help local charities. If you choose to donate, there is a box across from the office until December 13th. Thank you so much for your support.

Reminder that we’re closed Monday December 25th until January 1st. We will reopen Tuesday January 2nd. We would like to wish all of our families a very Merry Christmas.

Toddler Room #2

The cold weather is officially here. Thank you for continuing to send snow pants and all other cold weather gear. We’ve been learning all about winter and keeping watch out the window in hopes we’ll see some snowflakes falling. The toddlers love to read ‘Frosty the Snowman’ and are looking forward to being able to make a snowman of their own. Hopefully we’ll have some snow to play in soon!

Christmas is approaching and the toddlers have already started talking about Santa. Our classroom elf is set to arrive December 1st, in years past the toddlers loved looking for the elf every morning when they got to school. We’re sure your little ones will love it just as much and will tell you all about it. The toddlers were so excited when we put the Christmas tree up and we will start making ornaments to decorate it with.

Just a reminder: Story Book E.L.C. will be closed from Dec. 25th  – Jan. 1st and will re-open Jan. 2nd. We want to wish all our families Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year!
