Toddler Room #1 News

May 2026

It’s hard to believe it’s May already! The toddlers have been learning all about Spring: weather patterns, plants, birds, frogs and bugs are just some of the things we have talked about. We are looking forward to warmer weather as the toddlers love our outside time. Just a reminder to please check your child’s cubby and make sure their extra set of clothes is weather appropriate.

Our toddler’s have been loving to sing. Some songs that the toddlers have been singing this past month are: Down by the Bay and Sticky Bubble Gum!

This month we will continue with learning about Spring as well as talking about our moms. We would like to wish all our moms and grandmothers a very Happy Mother’s Day. Hope you all enjoy your day!

A reminder that we are closed Monday, May 18th for the Victoria Day holiday.

Toddler Room #2 News

May 2026

We’re so happy that warm sunny days are near! Hopefully all the rainy days of April are past us as we look forward to getting outside every day. Just a reminder that we go outside twice a day, please send a sunhat for your child as our days are getting warmer.

We also ask that you change out your child’s extra clothes to more weather appropriate attire. Please remember to bring home your winter gear and if you could please label any new incoming belongings. Thank-you!

The toddlers have started noticing the return of birds and bugs, and we’ve been talking a lot about spring!

We would like to welcome all our new friends from the infant room. In the toddler room, we like to encourage self help skills, this includes using a spoon, and fork and learning how to take off and put on their shoes and outdoor attire. It’s always helpful to continue practicing these skills at home with your little ones!

Reminder that we are closed Monday, May 18th for the Victoria Day holiday. We hope you enjoy your long weekend!
