Welcome Fall! This month we look forward to Thanksgiving, Fall and Halloween curriculum. We hope to see everyone at our annual Halloween open house on Tuesday, the 27th this month. We will also be celebrating Halloween by wearing black and orange on Friday the 30th. What a fun month to look ahead too!
In the month of September, we focused on the farm as a topic and talked a lot about farm animals. We also put up our family tree. The children love looking at their families and showing everyone that enters the room throughout the day.
Our new little friends are settling in nicely. Learning our daily routines and even participating during large group time. We say goodbye again this month to a few of our older friends moving up. We will miss you but know how ready you are for this next learning adventure.
With the cool weather please remember to send your child a jacket. Please also check your child’s spare clothes and make sure they are seasonally appropriate.
Reminder that we will be closed Monday, October 12th for Thanksgiving. We wish everyone a very happy holiday.

Autumn is here with falling leaves, cooler breeze, early nights and soon to be little frights!
We are planning a fun filled month with both Autumn and Halloween to learn about.
This past month we have focused on ourselves and self awareness. We learned about our favourite colours, foods, names and all sorts of little things that make us unique. It has been a great beginning to a new year with lots of new little ones in our room. We are thinking this is going to be an exciting year!
In case you haven’t noticed, we have some new fun window art! Thank you to Talent by Tanya, who is the creative painter behind it. We look forward to any new paintings coming our way.
Along with Autumn comes the cooler weather of course which means jackets, hats and possibly even little mittens. We are asking that you PLEASE label your child’s belongings, as we often do not see what they wear to school until it’s time for us to go outside. It is not always easy to remember who comes with what until we are well into the season.
SAVE THE DATE —-> Tuesday, October 27th. This will be our annual Halloween Open House. It’s the perfect opportunity for all our little ones to dress up in their favourite costume, go room to room for treats and quite possibly trick the teachers! Wonder if we will know who, is who!
We will be finishing up the Halloween season on October 30th by wearing black and orange, we please ask for no costumes that day.
We will be closed Monday, October 12th for Thanksgiving Day. We hope you have an amazing long weekend filled with gratitude and fun!
