June 2026
In May we began our focus on Mother’s Day. We enjoyed using our hands to mould the trinket dishes with clay for all our moms. We hope you all had a wonderful and restful Mother’s Day.
Though the weather has been warming, we are still dealing with cooler temperatures, especially in the mornings. Please ensure your child has a sweater or light jacket in case.
For the latter half of May we focused on puzzles and I spy games. The students enjoyed playing these games, especially when they outsmart the teachers! The children are also enjoying the new jump ropes and learning how to play marbles outside.
****A few reminders for you. Friday June 5, 2026, please send us a message through the app as to whether you require care on the PA Day. As well, please forward us you vacation plans so that we can plan our staffing. The summer program officially begins on June 26th, and we cannot wait.
In June, we will make something special for our dads in our lives, celebrate some cool fun days, and get ready for summer break. Stay tuned for news throughout the month.
Lastly, we will celebrate Canada Day on Tuesday, June 30th. We hope that everyone will celebrate with us by wearing red and white. We will make sure to have a day filled with Canada Day themed activities. As a reminder, we are closed Wednesday, July 1st for the holiday.
For those not returning for our summer program we hope you have an amazing summer break and look forward to seeing you back in September.
