“A father is someone you look up to no matter how tall you grow.”

We want to wish all our dads a very happy Fathers Day on June 16th! We are so grateful for all that you do!

We are very excited for the first day of summer! We can’t wait for all the fun that comes with this wonderful season. If you have not already given us your summer vacation schedule, please do so.

In the month of May, we learned about the life cycle of a plant. We planted our own beans and watched as they grew into plants. The children were also very interested in bugs and worms thanks to the rain that brought them out in our yard. We learned about different bugs and their names during circle and we got to use our senses while exploring and digging for worms in the dirt outside. In the classroom, we had a hairdressing centre and the children enjoyed styling Elsa’s hair, and sometimes their own. With the warmer days and the first day of summer coming we are excited to see where their interests will lead us next!

Story Book will be closed Monday, July 1st for Canada Day. We hope you all enjoy the long weekend!
