Preschool Room #1 News

December is here already! Where does the time go? Our preschoolers have been very excited as the first snowflakes have already fallen. They enjoyed outside times using the shovels, rakes and pails on the little bit of snow that we got.

If you have not already done so please send all the winter gear (snow pants, boots, hats and mittens) with your child’s name on them. Labelling them will help us to keep track of everyone’s belongings.

This past month we have been learning about transportation, community helpers and yes snow! Our favorite activities have been taking the large cars through the “car wash.”
Here the children were able to go through along with the car. It was so much fun!

We have also enjoyed sensory activities. We made puffy clouds with a glue and shaving cream mix and we also did quite a bit of painting using different tools including our fingers, sponges and brushes.

Just a reminder Story Book ELC will close Friday December 21st at 6 pm for the Christmas holidays. We will re-open on Wednesday Jan 2nd at 6 am.

Merry Christmas!
