March has arrived, let’s see if our little rodent friend, the groundhog was correct in predicting an early spring. The children love to go outside but a few of these February days have been too cold to go out. Let’s hope for a slight warm up.
The dramatic play centre has slowly changed into a birthday party theme. Many friends have enjoyed a birthday this month; some more than once. Our pretend cake and candles have been served many times over.
Valentine’s Day was a great success, our room was a sea of red, white and pink. With a little help from the teachers the children were able to deliver their cards and/or treats to all their friends.
There has been a lot of excitement among the children going to Kindergarten. Registration has begun and many have gone to visit their future school. The long wait until September begins. We are excited for them, but also sad as they start the next chapter in their lives.
Just a reminder that if there are any changes to your child’s schedule for March Break (March16-20) please let the staff know. This helps us to plan appropriately.
We will be participating in the Hats on for Healthcare on Wednesday March 4th by wearing a hat to school.
