May 2026
Spring is in full force, we’ve had some rain, some warm temperatures and some cooler days as well. Please send a hat with your child as we anticipate sunny days ahead (please ensure all items are labelled). We haven’t started sunblock yet, but I’m sure we will soon as May begins to warm up.
The children have been noticing signs of spring, we have seen so many insects and of course lots of robins. We can see the robins from our windows, and there is a nest with eggs in our play yard. We are anxiously awaiting the babies to hatch!
Last month, we focused on nursery rhymes, familiar stories and then transitioned into transportation. Everyone got so excited when we saw the garbage truck.
This month we will be celebrating our moms. We want to wish all our amazing moms a Happy Mother’s Day, and we hope you have an enjoyable day!
Just a reminder that Story Book will be closed Monday, May 18th for Victoria Day. Enjoy your long weekend.
