Kindergarten News
June 2026
We’re not quite sure how we’ve already jumped into the month of June, but we sure are trying to pack in as much as we can into the last few weeks of school!
Our outdoor space is looking a little more colourful and cheery these days. The JK/SKs love to create their masterpieces with sidewalk chalk. At any given time, you’ll find our sidewalks adorned with rainbows, flowers, rocket ships, and anything else that their imaginations dream up. And after a little rainfall, they get to start all over again!
According to our “Every Day is a Holiday” calendar, we’ve got a few things to celebrate this month. Starting the month off with a little kindness, for “Say Something Nice Day”, on the 1st. National Donut Day falls on Saturday, but we’ll celebrate a day early! June 15th is a day for “Smile Power”, where we’ll encourage our friends and family to turn their frowns upside down. We’ll also be rocking our shades for National Sunglasses Day (again, a day early), on the 26th.
Just a reminder that there is a final P.A Day scheduled for Friday, June 5th.
Our kindergarten crew has certainly accomplished a lot in the past ten months together, and we can hardly believe that the school year is coming to a close. We look forward to a fun-filled summer program, full of special activities, crafts, themed days, and water fun. We hope that you will be joining us on our upcoming, exciting adventures! To those that are out for the summer months, we look forward to having you back in September!
Our full day S.B.E.L.C. Kindergarten program will begin on Friday, June 26th. We require your child’s summer care schedule (days needed) as soon as possible. Just a reminder that we will be closed on Wednesday, July 1st for Canada Day.
