May 2026
April showers seemed to have worked, as our crew is noticing all the bright flowers starting to bloom around their homes and our community. We’re looking forward to some bright, sunny days ahead.
The month of May brings us one step closer to the end of the school year, and we are trying to have as much fun as we can.
On Friday, May 15th, we’ll be celebrating National Astronaut Day. We’ll be reviewing the eight planets of the solar system and learning about the astronauts that have recently returned from their space missions.
We’ll be celebrating the special women in our lives, leading up to Mother’s Day weekend. We hope to create a special surprise to bring home to our mommas, in honour of their special day.
Things may get a little silly on the 14th, as it’s “National Dance like a Chicken Day”. We can almost guarantee that our crew will be demonstrating our dance moves as the popular chicken dance song plays in our room.
We’re confident that Mr. Ian will help us out on Friday, May 15th, for national “Chocolate Chip Day”. Perhaps a special afternoon snack is in order!
