Toddler 1 News
August 2026
We blinked and July is over. It was a great month in Toddler #1.
We enjoy hearing all the stories about camping, swimming, going to the zoo, going to the park, watching parades, or just staying home with Mom and Dad or the grandparents! It is so much fun listening to the older toddlers try to share their stories about what they did while away.
We spent a lot of our time talking about the beach, the ocean, and the animals that live in it. We also spent some additional time learning about shapes and colours this month.
As you know, most toddlers love outdoor time. The water table and the mini climbing structure have added to their excitement. We love these beautiful sun shiny days.
Reminder: We are closed Monday, August 3rd for the Civic Holiday. We are also closed Monday, September 7th for Labour Day. Wishing everyone safe and happy holiday.
Toddler 2 News
August 2026
We have had a fun filled summer so far in Toddler 2. Summer is such a great time for family vacations, and so many children have been able to experience new adventures and create wonderful memories.
We have had a lot of fun playing with chalk and keeping cool with water play. We have also loved playing in our sandbox with all the trucks. They love practicing filling and dumping with both the trucks and pails.
We have spent the last month learning all about the beach, oceans, and ocean creatures. We love the crabs, “big” whales, and of course sharks with “big, sharp teeth”.

Please send a labeled hat for outdoor play, if you have yet to do so. Please also check your child’s cubbies to ensure they have a change of clothes here at school.
