August 2026
July was a month full of fun! We had a blast in dance class and are happy to be continuing this throughout the month of August. Water day was another great success. The week before our water day we got to watch the Kindergarten and School Age classes getting sprayed through our window. We had lots of exclamations of, “that looks fun” and “I wish we could do that”. Imagine the shock on their faces when they learnt that they did get to do that! We plan to have another water day this month; however, this time it will be more play based, with a sprinkler and games like toss the sponge. Stay tuned for an August calendar with all the fun days we have in store!
We’ve enjoyed hearing stories from all your vacations, whether that be trips to the beach, cottage vacations, or camping, etc. We look forward continuing to hear all about the rest of their summer adventures.
Over the last month our dramatic play center has been turned into a school where the children can practice packing their lunches and backpacks, as well as taking turns being the teacher and conducting “circle time.” We plan to switch this up for the end of summer and instead create a campground complete with a tent, sleeping bags, and s’mores. We hope the kids will love it!
As a reminder, please let us know of any changes to your child’s schedule, we know the last month leading up to school can have many exciting days such as the first bus ride and meet the teacher. We just ask that you let us know if they will be away, as well as their last day before kindergarten. This can help us plan and put together their graduation package.
