Toddler Room #1
Summer is officially here! An end to another ‘school year’. The next two months are sure to fly by. We look forward to everything summer has to offer.
The toddlers have been having fun learning all about the ocean & ocean animals. The sandbox and water play outside has also been one of the preferred activities this month. Please make sure there is extra clothes in your child’s cubby as our plan is to enjoy water play as much as possible over the summer months.
We go out twice a day. Although we do apply sunscreen the sun is very hot. We ask that you send or leave a sun hat in your child cubby.
Thank you for letting us know the days/weeks you plan to be away. For those with holiday plans we wish you wonderful trips making lots of memories.
Reminder: We are closed Monday, August 4th for the Civic Holiday.
Toddler Room #2
Summer is officially here!
We have continued enjoying the sandbox and recently our water table. They have been having so much fun playing in the water and trying to keep cool.
With that in mind we ask that you check your child’s spare clothes and ensure they are weather appropriate. We also ask that you are bringing a labeled hat everyday as we are outside for an hour in the morning and again in the afternoon. We provide sunscreen for your little one applied twice a day, if you do not want our sunscreen used, please provide your own labeled with your child’s name.
We had a great time in June talking about dinosaurs, Father’s Day and summer/ the beach. We enjoyed making special artwork and keepsakes for our dads. We loved playing with sand and water and all different sea creatures.
If you have any vacation planned for the summer, please be sure to let the staff in the room know as soon as possible as this helps us to plan staffing accordingly.
