Welcome to our fun filled school aged summer! Let’s jump on into some of the fun things we’ve done.

Our summer started off with a splash rolling in our first theme week, Sharks. Throughout this week we learned unique facts about sharks such as  where they cohabitate and interact with other species. We then headed on over to our Group Building Week. This week left us with different tasks and groups each day to complete these tasks. These tasks were: the tallest card tower, realistic straw houses, popsicle stick bridges, Lego creations, and marble race tracks. After our building challenges we started our Mad Science theme. During this week we created and experimented with a bunch of different materials such as slime, potions, and tie dye.

Our fourth week of the summer was holiday themed; each day correlated to a different holiday we’d have throughout the regular school year. This not only led to some fun times, but it also happened to run into our water day with the fire department ! While the fire hose sprayed us with cold water, we created a huge mud pile at our feet that we ended up jumping in and splashing each other with. We loved being able to stand in front of the fire hose and get drenched with water!

As we enjoy these summer months, please remember to send your child with sunscreen and a water bottle to battle the heat.

Just a reminder we are closed on Monday, August 4th for the Civic Holiday and Monday, September 1st for Labour Day.
