It’s graduation month! August is here and before you know it, it will be September. To help with this transition to kindergarten our dramatic play centre will turn into a school. This will give the children the opportunity to pack and zip backpacks, open and close containers from their lunch pails they pack in the play kitchen, and practice different routines such as circle.
July was all about the Essex Fun Fest! The preschoolers loved sharing all the rides they went on and games they played. To go along with this interest, we turned the dramatic play centre into our own Fun Fest. There was games such as fishing, bowling, ball toss, car races, and more. There was also many snacks to purchase using play money that helped us introduce math into the fun.
We have been so lucky to have you all be a part of the Story Book Early Learning Centre family. We will miss everyone dearly. It has been such an honour to watch your little ones grow while helping them get ready for this next big step. They are so excited for Kindergarten and their “big schools.” We are confident they will soar and do great things.
