We think it’s safe to say that Spring is finally here! With the change of the season it is a good time to check your child’s spare clothes to see if they still fit and if they are weather appropriate.
This past month the toddlers have been having fun exploring music through instruments and dancing. We learned about different rhythms and tempos by using rhythm sticks and streamers.
We also found a new interest in bugs! We have been talking about the different bugs that crawl and fly and where they live. We are looking forward to exploring this interest further as we discover new insects outside.
Please Note: Sunscreen will be provided by Story Book Early Learning Centre. The brand name is Croc Bloc. It is a paba free and hypo-allergenic with an SPF of 30. Sunscreen will be applied to all exposed skin, including face, tops of ears, arms, legs and bare shoulders. It will be effective from 10:00am to 4:00pm. If you do not want us to apply our sunscreen to your child, please notify staff and apply your sunscreen at home before your child arrives at school.
Please take the time to complete the re-registration forms sent home to ensure your spot for September. This will help us with our class plans for 2018-2019.
