The children that have moved to our room have settled in nicely. The past few weeks we have been talking about colours. We have encouraged them to sort, point and even match colours. A few of the older toddlers can even label their colours.
We have been having fun outdoors twice daily. They have been enjoying their outside time since we have had a relatively mild January.
Family day is approaching quickly. We will be engaging the children more in conversation as to who is in their family and who lives with them. We will also be discussing friends and being a kind friend.
Valentine’s day is coming as well, and we just would like to remind parents that treats will not be allowed to be brought from home due to COVID regulations, but we will still celebrate with some classroom fun. Please dress your child in red, pink, or white on February 12th.
