Toddler Room #1 News
It is hard to believe that another year has come and gone. Christmas will soon be here, and we are very excited to be learning all about Christmas.
Winter is upon us and it’s getting colder outside. Please send your child to school complete with snow pants, winter coat, boots, hat, and mittens. (preferably no gloves) Please ensure all of their belongings are labelled.
The children have grown so much and learned so much in the last few months. They are becoming more independent with their self help skills. We have been encouraging the toddlers to dress for outdoors with the help of the teachers.
Some of the younger toddlers are beginning to say new words while some of the older ones are surprising us with their vocabulary.
Just a reminder we will be closed December 24th – January 2nd for the Christmas holidays. We will re-open Monday January 3rd, 2022. Hope you all have a wonderful holiday. Merry Christmas!
Toddler Room #2 News
Our favourite month is finally here! We love this season and all the fun things that come with it. Our Christmas tree is soon to go up and we can’t wait to make all the decorations. Christmas music, crafts, large group, and sensory activities will keep us busy all month.
We enjoyed talking about pets and transportation during the month of November. The toddlers enjoyed these topics. Showing us pictures of their own pets was a lot of fun. We learned a lot about different vehicles as anything that moves captures the attention of the toddlers.
Thank you again for sending labelled hats, gloves, warm coats and snow pants.
Please let staff know, if there are any changes to your child’s schedule in the month of December.
Reminder: we will be closed Friday, December 24th 2021 and reopen Monday January 3rd, 2022.
