Hello November!
October has gone in a flash! We spent the last month enjoying the beautiful weather, especially our afternoons outside. The Halloween season came and went, we loved celebrating with Halloween dance parties and creating themed art projects, including leaf ghosts, jack-o’-lanterns and witches’ brooms.
During October, we began creating our own games to play during free time. We split into groups to brainstorm ideas, which we later developed into everyday games. One of our favourite games we created was “The Quiet Game #2”. In this game everyone sits in a circle, and each individual student gets a turn to try to make their classmates laugh. Although, there is a catch, if any noise is made from either party, they’re out.
As the seasons continually change so does the unpredictable weather. We ask that students come prepared with appropriate fall/winter outerwear to wear in the morning and afternoon as we do go outside.
