July is here and so are full days of latchkey! We cannot wait to spend our summer exploring, learning, and having fun together.
Throughout the school year our class was very interested in creating science experiments. Some of our favourite parts about the experiments were being able to test them out and get a little messy in the process. One experiment that really stood out for us was our exploding baking soda eggs. In the test run for the eggs we figured out the measurements of vinegar needed to mix with baking soda to make the exploding factor . This led to many students’ eggs overflowing and covering the table creating one big egg explosion.
Please send your child with a lunch, snacks and a refillable water bottle daily. We ask that you also send sunscreen, a hat and running shoes with your child.
Our summer calendar will be posted on the bulletin board as well as being sent out to each family. We are looking forward to all the fun days and memories we will make this summer!
Reminder we will be closed for the Civic holiday Aug 4th. Enjoy your holiday.
