Hip hip hooray! Winter is here to stay!

As December has come again, we want to send out a reminder that as winter weather is so unpredictable, we need to make sure that everyone is sent with proper winter attire coinciding with the weather (e.g., hat, boots, gloves, snow pants etc.) We spend a lot of our time outdoors in the morning and afternoon.

We continue to incorporate group games into our large group activities and have been really enjoying the do not laugh challenge. We have a lot of friends who can keep a straight face well, the teachers however are not so good at that game!

Our class has been very interested in art and drawing lately. We have been exploring different drawing, painting, and writing utensils that we mean make art with. A new favourite is chalk pastels, we made some amazing winter drink art with the pastels. We have so many creative and artistic friends in our room. Please take a look at our artwork bulletin board as you pick up your child/children.

We are so excited for the upcoming holidays and can’t wait to share all of our exciting new stories from the break. Just a reminder that storybook is closed from December. 25th – January, 1st. If you will be needing care for the following week, please let us know asap!

We can’t wait to hear all about your holiday break and look forward to the New Year!
