Preschool Room #2 News

Last month the children enjoyed learning about Fall. We started the month off by making pumpkin pie art and turkeys for Thanksgiving. We also asked each child what they were thankful for, and we put their responses outside the door of our classroom with their pictures, please remember to take a look.

We had quite a few children in our classroom visit a pumpkin patch or go apple picking with their family, which moved us into our discussion about Fall. Talking about the leaves changing colour, the weather getting colder, and Halloween!

The children loved singing spooky Halloween songs and creating beautiful works of art that we displayed in the classroom for our Open House. Big Thanks to all the families who attended that evening. We had a great turnout!

Just a reminder that the children are outside an hour in the morning and again in the afternoon. The children should come to school with a winter coat, hat, mittens, and snow pants every day to ensure that they are happy and comfortable as we head outdoors for these extended periods of time. Please label all your child/children’s belongings. Thanks. 😊
