Summer is almost here, and it is already super hot and sunny outside. The children have been enjoying the sunny weather and all the summer activities that come along with it. Some of their favourite summer activities include blowing bubbles, playing in the sand and water tables and colouring with chalk to name a few. Please remember to send a sun hat with your child for these sunny days and remember that we will provide sunscreen daily.
Please be sure to give your summer vacation schedule to the staff soon. This helps us to staff accordingly.
Last month the children in our room were talking a lot about the letters in their name. We implemented a lot of activities based on this interest. The children were able to fish for magnetic letters, trace their names, and make alphabet soup. The children seem to know a lot more letters now and can even tell you what letter some familiar words start with.
