October has come and gone, and the children really enjoyed talking and learning all about Halloween. We have spent the last couple weeks discussing Halloween and what the children were dressing up as. The children were also interested in colours and shapes. We put out many Halloween activities for the children to explore and use their imagination with.

During outside play the children were excited about seeing the leaves changing colour and falling to the ground. We brought out rakes and they had fun raking the leaves into piles, jumping into the piles, and throwing them up in the air. We also brought some leaves into the classroom for the children to explore.

Halloween Open House was a great success. The children had fun and we loved seeing everyone’s costumes. We hope everyone had a great Halloween.

Remembrance Day is Friday November 11th, Story Book is open however this may be a holiday for some, please let us know if your child will not be attending.

Just a reminder we are outside for an hour, twice a day. With the cold weather approaching please send your children with a warm coat, hat, and mittens. To help keep track of these items please ensure to label your child’s belongings.
