Preschool Room #1 News

Well January sure did start off with a bang and we aren’t talking about fireworks. With regulations changing continually we strive to do our  best. We kept the cases to a minimum with all your help. Thank you for being proactive and following the screening protocols.

The first 2 weeks of the month we were stuck inside even though there was snow. The weather was just too cold to go out and play and it was too icy. We found fun activities to do while inside; games, playdoh,  obstacle courses, yoga, and dancing to name a few. We also got to experience some hands on winter activities by bringing ice and snow indoors.

When we did make it outside the children had so much fun filling pails and dump trucks with snow. Rolling down the hill and sliding on the slide. Not enough snow  to break out the sleds but we have our fingers crossed that we will get some more.

FYI: Please wear red and pink on Monday, February 14th to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Also, Story Book will be closed for Family Day on Monday, February 21st.
