Preschool Room #1

April News

Happy Spring! We have been enjoying some warmer weather and were lucky to have gotten away with not wearing snow pants some days. Unfortunately, we do still have some cooler days that require snow pants and boots, so please refrain from taking them home yet. Teachers will use their discretion daily about the weather and decide what the children should wear outside at each scheduled time.

Last month we participated in Hats on for Health Care to raise money for Windsor Regional Hospital. Story Book proudly wore our hats and raised a total of $175.00 Thanks to everyone who donated!

With Easter right around the corner, we have talked a lot about the Easter bunny and the eggs he will be bringing. Along with the topic of Easter our preschool one class has expressed interest in nursery rhymes. Humpty Dumpty, the Itsy-Bitsy Spider, and pat-a-cake have been the ones they’re most interested in. We will foster their interest by incorporating nursery rhymes into our circles, books, and artwork.

Reminder we will be closed Friday, April 3rd for Good Friday and Monday, April 6th for Easter Monday.
