Although, we had a very frigid January, we took advantage of the few snowy days when we were able to go outside to play. The children especially had fun going down the hill in snow saucers, clearing the snow from our sidewalk with shovels, and this year we even made a mini classroom snowman. What a way to start the year off right!

On days when it is too cold to go outside, we try to find some fun activities to keep us busy. Our favourite activities are playing with playdoh, colouring pictures, and having afternoon dance parties to release some more energy of course.

Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching. Please dress your child in red, pink, or their favourite Valentine’s Day clothing on Friday, February 13th. If you wish to send valentines with your child, we ask that you simply sign them with your child’s name. Your child will be able to hand them out to their friends during our circle time. Just a reminder that we are a peanut free school.

Also, a quick reminder that we will be closed on Monday, February 16th for Family Day. We hope everyone has a fantastic day with their family.
