October was an exciting month for the Kindergarten children. We celebrated Thanksgiving and Halloween by creating beautiful works of art to decorate their homes. The children liked sharing with one another what they were going out as for Halloween and any traditions they do each year with family.
This month we will read and act out familiar stories. The children have shown an interest in making masks and have also enjoyed retelling stories to each other. Also for November we will discuss numbers and measurement, working on comparing objects and incorporating those into our gym and outdoor activities. We will learn about hibernation. We will do this through reading books about various types of animals that hibernate but also have fun creating activities related to this theme.
Just a reminder Friday November 20th is a P.D. day for both boards.
