We’re starting off our month here in the kindergarten room with a little kindness! Plans are already underway, for creating artwork for the residents at Iler Lodge. We’re sure that they’ll love our Valentine surprises!
The JK/SK crew will be learning all about pets and how to take care of them during our studies this month. We’ll discuss the most common of pets, as well as the most outrageous ones! And we’ll be sure to celebrate “National Love Your Pet Day” on Tuesday, February 20th.
On the 26th, it’ll be all about our favourite/classic stories on “Tell A Fairy Tale Day”. Followed closely by “National Tooth Fairy Day”, where we’ll make magic wands and find out what the Tooth Fairy really does with all our teeth. Stay tuned!
Be sure to check out our hallway bulletin board, to see all that we’ve been up to over the past few weeks. There are ALWAYS exciting happening in our Kindergarten room! And just a quick reminder, that there is another PA Day, scheduled for Friday, February 16th. Please let us know if your child will require care on that day.
Also, the Story Book Early Learning Centre & Latchkey Program will be closed on Monday, February 19th for the Family Day holiday. We hope that all of you can enjoy the extra time together with your families!
