Infant Room #1

Summer has made us get creative. We have taken a lot of early morning walks and short visits to the playground to avoid having the infants in the heat for too long. Just a reminder if you haven’t already sent a sun hat with your child, it is highly recommended. We apply sunscreen every time before going out.

The babies are enjoying the exploration we have been providing indoors. We have tunnels, foam stairs and ramps, so they can use up all that energy! We also provide puzzles and books to expand their cognitive skills and abilities.

We look forward to enjoying the rest of the summer with your children!

Infant Room #2

This past month has been so much fun. Many mornings have been spent in our playground. The older Infants absolutely love all the freedom. Walking around the yard, the bike track, climbing the hill, and going down the slide are just a few of the things the Infants love to do outside. This time encourages so many skills. Gross motor play, social interaction, turn taking and a lot of language skills to expand their vocabulary.

Indoors we’ve spent a lot of time dumping and filling, building towers, and taking care of baby dolls. The shape sorting toys have also been very popular.

We hope August doesn’t go quite as quickly as July. There are so many more summer activities to do. We hope you’re all enjoying everything summer has to offer and making sweet memories.

Reminder: We will be closed Monday September 5th for Labour Day. We wish you all a safe & happy holiday!
