Infant Room #1

November already. The time seems to be flying by.  The Autumn season is upon us, and the babies have been seeing the signs while we are out and about on our walks and during our outdoor play.  Some of the babies have been excited to see the squirrels scampering up, down and around the trees.  They love seeing all the pumpkins on the lawns and porches, and we have even witnessed a few leaves falling to the ground.  Indoors, we have been exploring some of these items through sensory exploring. We brought in leaves to crunch as well as pumpkin “guts” to get messy with.

This is also the perfect time to remind parents to send in some warmer clothes. We need some for our walks and as spare clothes to stay here in their baskets. For the outdoor clothing, warm jackets, mittens, slippers or booties, and hats are perfect for this time of year.  Also, since it is possible that it may go from cool to cold, don’t be afraid to send in a snowsuit/winter gear.

Thank you for making our Open House a great success. It was so nice to see all the families, and we loved seeing the little ones all dressed up.

What a fun month October was! The babies had fun with fall and Halloween crafts and sensory activities.

Thank you so much to everyone for attending our Halloween Trick or Treat Open House. A fun night was had by all. Thank you also for participating in orange and black day. We hope you all had a great Halloween.

Remembrance Day is Friday, November 11th. Story Book is open; however, this may be a holiday for some. Please let us know if your child will not be attending.

We look forward to the month of November and watching your little ones grow.
