Infant Room #1

We hope that all our Infant 1 families had a safe and Happy Easter! This past month we have been talking about bunnies, eggs, and everything Easter. The babies really enjoyed our Easter sensory bin and our shaker eggs. They also had so much fun creating Easter themed artwork for their families.

This month we will shift our focus to cars and transportation, as the babies really enjoy watching the different vehicles outside of our window.

We just want to remind families that we do go outside in the early morning and sometimes it is still very cool. Please continue to send warmer apparel and label you little one’s clothing.

This past month we participated in “Hats on for Healthcare”, and we raised $210 for Windsor Regional Hospital. Thank you to everyone who participated/donated.

Infant Room #2

Welcome Spring! We hope everyone had a great Easter Holiday with friends and family.

We’re looking forward to lots of sunshine and warmer weather for outdoor exploration.  With our unpredictable weather conditions, it’s always a good idea to dress your child in layers and have appropriate outdoor clothing available for us to use during our outside times.

The infants loved creative time this past month making St. Patrick’s Day and Easter artwork. They have enjoyed painting with watercolours, colouring with markers and using bingo dabbers. They have also had fun exploring different sensory activities. Water, movement ribbons with music, light up wands, and sensory bins were some of their favourites. Some of the infant’s favourite songs this month have been, “The Wheels On The Bus” and “If You’re Happy and You Know It”.
