September 2026
We hope you had a safe and relaxing summer. We are looking forward to a fun filled new school year. We will be looking forward to welcoming a few new faces as the SK’s move to grade 1.
As summer winds down, we do want to remind everyone to watch the weather. Though summer temperatures tend to stick around for a little while; it will start getting cold especially in the mornings. We will still be going outside before and after school, so please ensure your child is dressed appropriately.
In August, we focused on the outdoors, building, and letting our creativity flow. We visited WETRA where we got to experience horse care. We also had a trip to ice cool treats for some vanilla ice cream, another trip to the library, and another visit from the firefighters who brought their hoses and cooled us down. We finished August with a trip to the Splash pad. We still have a couple of fun days planned to finish off the last week of summer as Labour Days falls late this year.
This summer we worked a lot on teamwork and sharing projects. We are very proud of the children for their efforts during our group projects. They made some great creations.
Just a reminder that Story Book will be close Monday September 7th, 2026, for Labour Day.
