With summer in full swing, the children have been talking about their personal trips and summer experiences that they have had so far. Many have gone on trips to the beach, some have gone camping, a few trips to the zoo or African Lion Safari and most of the children had great stories of the Essex Fun Fest. We have incorporated many of these hot topics into our curriculum last month. We played carnival games at circle, talked about animals we might see at the zoo, made sand castles outside in the sandbox, and turned our picnic dramatic play center into a camping center.
Just a reminder that Story Book Early Learning Center will be closed Monday, September 3rd for Labour Day. Have a safe and enjoyable weekend!
