Toddler Room News

May is here and hopefully some warmer weather too. With the rising of temperatures you may want to trade your mittens and winter boots for spring hats and rubber boots. Again we appreciate if you can label all your items to avoid confusion.

We will be providing sunscreen again this year. The sunscreen is unscented, UVA/UVB protection with SPF 30. We will be applying the sunscreen before our outside time both in the morning and the afternoon. Please let staff know if you do not want sunscreen applied to your child.

This past month the toddlers have been very busy discovering the signs of spring. We found a worm outside and we were very interested in watching it bury itself in the dirt (which took quite awhile) but we were excited when it was completely under the dirt.

We also have been busy learning and playing with all different kinds of trucks. This interest emerged from last month’s discussion of farms tractors. Who knows where our toddlers curiosity will take them this month.

Happy Mother’s Day to all our Mom’s and Grandmother’s. Enjoy your day.

Just a reminder: We will be closed on Monday May 23rd for Victoria Day.
