School-Age Room #1

Well, here we are again, the end of another school year, and what a year it’s been! We have learned so many things and progressed in so many ways since September.

As this school year comes to an end, we are so excited for what this summer may bring to our latchkey program. Some of the activities we are eagerly anticipating are reading in the sun, water days, field trips to the fire station, walks around town, minute to win it and carnival games. We are also hoping to create a hair-styling studio to carry out our recent interest in becoming hairdressers! We love to braid, pretend to cut, wash, dye, style hair, and schedule appointments in our salon books.

As we approach summer break, please notify us of the care you may need for the months of July and August.

We can’t wait to savour the sunshine and indulge in what we have in store for the next few months with all our friends who will join us.

We wish all our fathers and grandfathers a happy Father’s Day on June 16th.

Reminder, we will be closed for Canada Day on Monday, July 1st. Enjoy your long weekend!

School-Age #2

Wow! Just like that the school year is coming to an end. We hope all the children that are out for the summer enjoy their time and we look forward to seeing them again in September.

For all the children spending the summer with us, we plan on having fun! Some of the activities include water days, plus water days with the fire department, a visit to the Fire Hall, Minute to Win It and a carnival to mention a few.

On June 7th it is National Ice Cream Day. We will be participating by making our own ice cream cones and discussing all the different flavours.

We hope everyone has an amazing summer and will be back in September for another school year.

We wish all our fathers and grandfathers a happy Father’s Day on June 16th.
