Infant Room News

Welcome back! It’s been quite awhile since we have put out a new newsletter and officially welcome families back to Story Book. It is extremely exciting to see all the familiar faces and be able to spend time once again with the children. We have quite a few new families who have joined us and we are so happy to be a part of their children’s experiences.

We are busy getting to know our new babies and they all seem to be adjusting well. So far the babies love to get outside and go for walks to Sadler’s Pond. The geese have not been quite as excited to see us, as we are to see them! We have also noticed that many of the babies have shown a huge interest in “building”. They love our big, soft cubes and our mega blocks to build tall towers, and then quickly knock them down. Another interest they have shown is making noise, aka music! We have brought out the instruments and they absolutely love to try them all. This obviously has led to some pretty cool dance moves!

Just a reminder we are closed for Thanksgiving on Monday October 12th. We hope that everyone has a wonderful holiday weekend.

On Friday October 30th remember to wear orange and black to celebrate Halloween.

Note: Due to Covid-19, we unfortunately will not be able to accept treats and/or items to be given out for Halloween. Thank you for your understanding.
