Infant Room News

June will bring, the first day of summer. We are so excited for the weather. As your child’s clothing changes with the seasons, please remember to label them as well as hats. This will make it much easier for staff to ensure your child’s items are not misplaced.

The infant room has been busy with many different interests, including filling and emptying and putting things in and out of spaces.

We have been doing activities to support these interests such as a tube activity that the children were able to put objects in the tubes and take them out at the other end.

We also had fun with the “ball box” provided by Miss Lora, the E.C.E. student. The children enjoyed fitting different size balls into the different size holes in the box.

July and August are soon approaching, please let staff know of your vacation needs. Two weeks notice is greatly appreciated in order to accommodate staffing requirements.

Just a reminder Story Book Early Learning Centre will be closed Monday July 3rd for Canada Day.

We would like to extend a Happy Father’s Day to all our great dad’s, grandpa’s papa’s, etc. Enjoy your special day.
